Ingredients:
1 Chicken, 8 pieces
1 Large onion, Sliced
4 onions, crispy fried
4 tbsp Tomatoo puri
2 tbsp kerisik (grated,
toasted and pasted coconut)
2 tomatoes, chopped
2.5 cup coconut milk
1 small assam keeping (if
you wish)
½ cup oil
1 tbsp red chili, paste
1 tsp coriander, toasted
and powdered
1 tsp cumin, toasted and
powdered
1 inch ginger, paste
5 onions
3 garlic cloves, paste
½ inch ginger root
Sugar and salt to taste
How to cook:
- Mix coriander, cumin, ginger, garlic and onion in a pan.
- Mix the paste with chicken pieces and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onion, fry for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes puree, chopped tomatoes, crispy onions and stir for 5 minutes.
- Add chicken and stir well.
- Add coconut milk, kersik, assam keeping, sugar and salt, Stir.
- Reduce heat and cook until everything is done.
- Serve hot with rice.
