Ingredients:
3 tbsp Ghee
1 kg Skinless boneless chicken breast,
½" cubes
2 Large Onions, Sliced
3 Tomatoes cut into pieces
4 Black peppercorns
2 Black Cardamom pods, cracked
1 inch Cinnamon stick
1 tsp Cayenne powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp garlic, crushed
1 tsp Ginger, finely chopped
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tsp Cilantro, chopped
2 green chili, finely chopped
½ lime Juice
How to cook:
1. Heat
Ghee in a large sauce pan. Fry chicken till all pieces turn white to very light
brown. About 5 minutes. Remove chicken with slotted spoon and set aside.
2. Add
onions cook on low heat for about 10 minutes until brown.
3. Add
the Tomatoes, Peppercorns, Cardamoms, Cinnamon stick, Cayenne, Garam Masala,
Garlic, Ginger and salt. Stir-fry 5 minutes.
4. Add
chicken, and yogurt. Stir. Cover. Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
5. Add
Cilantro, green chili and lime juice. Stir-fry about 5 minutes.
6. Turn
off heat.
7. Garnish with cilantro.
