Ingredients:
½ Kg Chicken (cut into pieces)
1 Onion, sliced
2 tbsp Tomatoes, paste
1 Red Chili
2 Cloves
2 Cardamom, seeds only
½ inch Cinnamon stick
1 inch Ginger, paste
1 inch Ginger, paste
6 cloves Garlic, paste
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 Bay leaves
½ tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
¼ bunch Coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp Garam Masala
¼ bunch Coriander leaves, chopped
½ cup Oil or ghee
Salt to taste
How
to Cook:
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
- Add red chili, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon and bay leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Fry onions for 2 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste for 4-6 minutes.
- Add chicken and fry well for 5 minutes.
- Add chili-coriander-turmeric powder.
- Add salt, cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add tomato paste and cook on low heat until done.
- Add garam masala and coriander leaves before removing from heat.
- Serve hot with rice.
