Ingredients:
1½ Kg Chicken breast, boneless
200 gms Green chili
200 gms Tomato
200 gms Onion (Red Large)
1 tsp Cumin Seed
10 Garlic cloves
50 gms Ginger root
1 tsp Red Chili powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
200 gms Butter
½ bunch Cilantro, chopped
Salt to taste
How
to Cook:
- Cut chicken in to large pieces.
- Dice 150 gms tomatoes, 150 gms onions & 150 gms green chilies into 1" pieces.
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Finely cut 50 Gms onions.
- Make garlic cloves into a paste.
- Add chicken pieces, finely cut onions, cumin seeds, salt & garlic to butter and mix well
- Cover and let the chicken steam at medium heat. Stir occasionally.
- Finely chop remaining 50 gms tomatoes.
- Cut ginger into julienne.
- Wash cilantro and separate leaves from stem.
- Remove cover. Add red chilies, turmeric powder, green chilies & finely chopped tomatoes.
- Mix well and let the chicken cook at medium heat until almost all water has evaporated.
- Add julienne ginger when half the water has evaporated.
- Turn off heat and add cilantro. Cover
- Keep the cover for 5 minutes.
